Imogen Heap

All right, okay, I admit I went to see Narnia with my family on Christmas eve like the rest of the country. Having read the book around 15 years ago, I had flash backs from grade-school throughout the movie. The soundtrack however reminded me of how much I like Imogen Heap, the lead singer from Frou Frou (think last scene of Garden State). Both groups have really done a nice job and almost monopolized the “thoughtful-emotional electronic-soundtrack category.” The song chosen for Narnia was pale in comparison to some of the other tracks on her album which is entitled ‘Speak for Yourself.’ Her voice and style are unique and listening to songs like ‘Hide and Seek’ clearly show what an incredible talent she has. Her website is pretty fun too, and the album is available on iTunes.
