Harputs San Francisco

I spent this past weekend in San Francisco doing some “recon work”, and I’ve got much to report–so look forward to more SF related posts this week. I stopped by nearly every hot sneaker spot in the area– today I landed at Harputs for a while, down on Filmore Street. They have the largest selection of Adidas Sneakers I’ve ever seen in one place, all the 35th anniversary shoes, all the classics– and what I found most impressive, they have the largest showroom of Y-3 gear for sale in the country (or so they claim). More than a dozen Y-3 sneakers, in many sizes, plus clothing, jeans, and some accessories–some oldies, and a lot from the new Spring 2005 line. Harputs is definitely the stop for the true adidas fanatic–they even went as far as scorning the Pumas on someone’s feet when I was there. If you can’t get to the bay, much of their selection is for sale online too.
