If you haven’t seen this before, it’s a riot. Clocky is a great little invention from the folks at MIT. Simply put, Clocky is a shag carpet covered alarm clock with wheels. It’s made for people who have trouble getting out of bed, let me explain. When the snooze is pressed, the clock rolls itself off the table, and bumps mindlessly into objects until it finds a place to hide–so when the alarm does sound again, the sleeper has to get up and find it to fully turn it off. The Clocky has some kind of internal processor to help it find a new hiding spot everyday. Doesn’t it look a lot like one of those Japanese Domo Kun dolls?
