Zoom Zoom: The Bullet Train

I hopped on the Nozomi bullet train to Osaka yesterday– mainly to check out Kyoto and see a few friends in Osaka. The train ride was as smooth as ever and almost completely silent. We cruised at a top speed of 186 mph (so fast!), taking only a cool 2.5 hours to go nearly 300 miles through southern Japan. I’ve got literally dozens and dozens of shop, hotel, and restaurant reviews and pages of notes for posts– but unfortunately I have been too busy exploring around to get them up! I promise this week will be packed with reviews and photos from the trip. Arigato!
