WonderWood: Amsterdam

The warm, organic feeling of WonderWood is noticeable even before you step through the door of this shop, gallery, and design studio. Situated close to Dam Square, WonderWood exhibits the "wonder-world of wood" through a collection of furniture, art, and gadgets. Comprised of over 100 vintage plywood chairs and tables from the 1940's, 50's, and 60's, paintings on wooden panels by artist such as Ton van Kints, and a plethora of handmade objects including everything from children's toys to eye glasses. WonderWood is the spot in Amsterdam to visit for everyone interested in plywood art and design.
