The Neverending Web Page

Often times when we use the words “never” and “end” in concert it has a negative connotation as in “this day feels like it will never end” or “I just watched The Neverending Story 2.” That’s not to say those two words can’t be used back to back in a positive light, for example, “I hope this night never ends” or “the Olive Garden’s never-ending salad bowl is the best thing that’s ever happened to me.” In the spirit of the latter usage comes Good Things Should Never End, a website that well, never ends. Designed by the Animator Rex and Art Coder Mariuz Watz with Poke London to promote UK Cell service provider Orange’s Unlimited service offer, the site’s main page seems to scroll down infinitely making for a wacky bottomless pit of Internet-ly delights. Birds chirp, hairy figures shave, pinwheels spin, monkeys dance, and no matter how far you keep going the madness seems to continue forever and ever no matter how much scrolling you do…which, for entertainment’s sake, is certainly a good thing. (It does not, however, appreciate mean people, as illustrated above, so be nice.)
