The Clothes Hanger: Redesigned

$40 is a little much to pay for a clothes hanger, even if it is made of aluminum, and is the ‘best looking hanger you’ve ever seen’. Slowly but surely smart and forward thinking designers have been changing our everyday lives–like re-designing the umbrella, and so on. This reminds me of my favorite quote about design, by Charles Mingus. “Making the simple complicated is commonplace; making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, that’s creativity.” Not to say the hanger needed to be any simpler, or easy to to use, but one small tweak in the design, and now it seems “right”.
