Stephane Guillot

Stephane Guillot reminds me why I like web designers. A French ex-musician, the multimedia game developer/graphics expert/Flash master has been clicking mouses since 1994, when a post-rocker stint as a military-avoidant, media library worker bee landed him in front of a computer. From there, Guillot’s career progressed to his current position at Modedemploi, where he specializes in IT education, commercial marketing and games. Stephane’s own portfolio site, however, features plenty of work he’s done outside those realms, delivered to you in a super-entertaining format. When you visit the site, you’ll be guided by a very French-looking, 95 pixel-high mini-Stephane, who will change outfits as he directs you through his Polly-Pocket world of skills and projects. If you work in such a place that prohibits you to laugh out loud a little, save this one for tonight, but if you’re lucky enough to have the freedom to seek “creative inspiration,” check it out now.
