Paris: Update

Maison et Objet is by far the largest show I’ve ever been to– the facility felt about ten times the size of the Javitz center in New York. In two very long days I walked just about every single row, minus a couple corners I cut when I got to the baby clothes, etc. The number of ‘good’ finds definitely increased, but there was still a lot of pretty awful stuff– to be expected at any trade show. Maison had everything from furniture, textiles, jewelry, to literally aisles of scented candles and bath products. I’ll do my best to post up some of the cream of the crop, and not waste time with many Americanized brands, and designers. I only had a short afternoon walking around downtown, but went to a few ‘must see spots’ for anyone visiting Paris. Not bad for a lil’ weekend here…I fly tomorrow…Stay tuned!
