Observations on Planes / In Airports

For the past week, I have been diving head-first into my new day job — learning the ropes, meeting my new teammates, and generally bracing myself for a return to the working world have all taken up much of my time recently. (As to what I was doing in the weeks before THAT, well… it’s just not fit for public consumption. I am a gentleman, after all.) The new gig will involve quite a bit of travel. I will be visiting glamorous locations in Michigan, Ohio, and elsewhere (and not, say, Thailand) via coach (not Upper Class) accommodations aboard fabulous airliners like United and Southwest. Suffice it to say, this will leave me with plenty of time awaiting my departure and arrival as I will not be whiling away the hours in the lounge on the company dime. At least, not in my first few months. But even the most dedicated and tireless road warriors need a break now and then to engage our creative side; perfectly suited to such situations is the novel flip-book / travel journal, Observations On Planes / In Airports, containing sixty four blank pages thirsting for your envelope-opener-sharp wit. So order one today, and remember what it feels like to write longhand. Consider it “proto-blogging”. You never know, maybe while you’re taking a break from your job to skewer your fellow passengers in prose you may just come up with the Next Big Idea.
