This graphic explanation of a designer’s life is totally great– in fact it’s priceless. “How a Designer Grows: Changes in a Designer’s Self-Worth/Knowledge Over Time”. The journey of a designer starts in Junior High and moves through all of the separate possible paths: losing jobs, quitting design, etc. Finally the last few moves end with, “Pulls 90-Hour Week, Hired as Partner, Invited to Teach at Prestigious School”– and at the end of the journey, voila you’re a designer.
