Degrees of Separation

Degrees of Separation originally started as a simple online postcard website for designers living, originating or somehow connecting to New Orleans area. Read: This project was started pre-hurricane. After Hurricane Katrina, it turned into a creative outlet for many people ready to share their experiences and reflect upon what happened to each designer before and after the tragedy. The magazine soon went from digital format to real-life, and the postcard book was born. The book includes a handful of familiar artists, like our friend Nessim Higson. Books are $25, and the first 100 online pre-orders come with posters by Erik Klesewetter and Nessim Higson, along with some buttons by Samia Saleem. The book will remain limited edition– capping production off at 750 pieces, there are thirty-three full-color detachable (and sendable) postcards inside.
