Corey Arnold

Corey Arnold is an incredibly talented photographer from Southern California– his photos are provocative and simple. This photo is from a series called “The Animal Condition”, a collection of simple black and white photographs he took of animals away from their level of comfort and in confusing situations. This is from a series of photos which were exhibited in Oslo in ’03, and they were large format–towering images 15 feet wide and up to 9 feet tall. He has a couple other incredible series on his site, but this was my favorite.
