Berlin: Monsieur Vuong

Monsieur Vuongs is a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant, tucked away on a side street in Mitte. A red awning, and several rows of tables and benches are in front, under a bright red awning. A local friend took me here my second night in town, and I’ve already been back once. The restaurant is very trendy, and was totally packed for dinner on both visits–apparently it’s a bit of a legendary spot around here. The food is simple, and I’m not generally a big Vietnamese fan but it was very tasty and exquisitely prepared. They only feature a few specials everyday, soups, and rice bowls. If you find yourself there, make sure to ask for the fresh squeezed watermelon juice, it was delicious!
