2006 SXSW Movies: Air Guitar Nation and More

Music isn’t all that’s going on at SXSW, there are plenty of terrific movies like Before the Music Dies and Air Guitar Nation to see. So, get out of the heat and check out one of these great flicks, each of which has one more showtime this week. Make sure to get there early though, seats fill fast! Before the Music Dies

In director Andrew Shaptor's, Before the Music Dies, two music fans investigate the state of American music, past, present, and future. With commentary by some of the industry’s biggest talent such as Erykah Badu, Branford Marsalis, Dave Matthews, Elvis Costello, Bonnie Raitt, and Questlove, Before the Music Dies exposes the sad truths behind today's music industry and its "manufactured" stars. A must see for any music lover!
