Nike Ovolo

Freshness Mag has a nice piece (and more pictures) about the new Nike Female shoe called the “Ovolo“–which was designed by Richard Clarke. The shoe is a bit crazy, but pretty damn genius– the heel is suspended like a hammock. It’s an alternative design solution that “holds the heel closely, allowing for maximum flexibility and providing unique mid-sole cushioning for enhanced performance and comfort”–not to mention it looks totally wild. “The Ovolo is a shoe that conveys the freedom to let go of convention.”
